The pop screen filter for microphones is an effective studio tool for softening explosive "p" and "b" consonants, and for controlling excessive breath noise. To use, simply attach the clamp to any mic stand and position the pop screen 2' to 8' from the microphone( you will need to experiment with this distance depending on the vocalist). For best results, position the vocalist atleast 2' from the screen and do not let the pop screen rest on the microphone. The pop screen may be gently cleaned using warm water and a soap solution.Do not expose to extreme heat or direct sunlight.
